Al primo piano di Palazzo Costa (XVII sec.) in alcuni ambienti monumentali di proprietà della Fondazione Horak, ente senza fini di lucro, è allestito il Museo Ambientale del '700. Le opere d'arte sono qui collocate in uno spazio che appare quotidianamente vissuto, secondo i canoni tipici di questo genere museale, ancora poco diffuso in Italia, al contrario di quanto avviene in Inghilterra ed in Francia. Il percorso museale si snoda attraverso tre sale: la Sala degli Stemmi, la Sala degli Stucchi e la Sala Impero Blu, in cui sono visibili importanti opere pittoriche nonché interessanti arredi d'epoca che corredano le sale stesse; di grande interesse, inoltre, l'impianto decorativo degli ambienti.
On the first floor of Palazzo Costa (17th century) in a series of monumental rooms belonging to the Horak Foundation, a non-profit organisation, there is the Environmental Museum of the 18th century. The works of art are set up in a space that looks lived in on a daily basis, as is customary in this type of museum, which is still not very common in Italy, unlike what happens in the United Kingdom and in France. The museum exhibition is in three rooms: the Coats of Arms Room, the Stucco Room and the Blue Empire Room, where important paintings are exhibited together with interesting period furniture that decorate the rooms themselves; the decorations of the rooms are also very interesting.
